The 42nd BCS Circular 2020 is going to be published. However, this is not the normal BCS. The 42nd BCS will be a special BCS just like the 39th BCS. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has agreed to take 2,000 more doctors to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. They will be recruited through special BCS. They will be recruited to Corona Hospital for treatment.
The Department of Health Services has written to the Ministry of Public Administration to organize a special BCS to make arrangements for their speedy recruitment. Mapping is being done to private medical college hospitals and private clinics across the country that can provide treatment for the disease. These hospitals will naturally need a lot of doctors and nurses.
But it is not possible to deal with coronavirus with the small number of doctors in the country. In this context, it is necessary to appoint doctors on an urgent basis to treat coronavirus.
In this regard, the Prime Minister has already approved a proposal of the Department of Health regarding the recruitment of doctors, nurses, and health workers. In order to expedite the appointment of these doctors, the approval of the Secretary Committee on Administrative Development must be obtained later.

42nd BCS Application Eligibility:
To apply for the post of Assistant Surgeon, the candidate should have MBBS or its equivalent degree. Candidates for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon must have BDS or equivalent degree.

According to the 42nd BCS Circular, the candidate has to apply online. Candidates have to fill the application form (BPSC Form-1) prescribed by Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website bpsc.teletalk.com.bd or Bangladesh Public Service Commission website bpsc.gov.bd. The application form should be filled with the required information. Candidates need to upload their latest color photo and signature while filling up the application form.
All the candidates who have National Identity Card (NID) number will mention the NID number at the designated place in the online application form.
