Bangladesh Police SI (Sub Inspector) Job Circular 2020

Bangladesh Police SI Job Circular 2020 has not been published yet. It is expected that the sub-inspector Job Circular will be published in a few days. This year, all recruitment activities of Bangladesh Police will be completed online. Candidates have been selected manually in previous years but this year application can be made online.

Both Males and Females can apply for the post of SI of Bangladesh Police. Let’s know the eligibility to apply, application procedure, selection procedure, written test and other information.

Application Eligibility

• To apply for the post of Sub-Inspector of Bangladesh Police, the candidate must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
• The candidate must be unmarried (not divorced). The candidate must remain unmarried till the end of the training period.
• Candidates must be between 19 and 27 years of age on April 1, 2020. Date of birth minimum from 2 April 2001 to maximum 2 April 1993. However, the age limit for the children of heroic freedom fighters will be acceptable from 19 to 32 years.
• Educational qualification for both male and female candidates is Bachelor. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree from any approved university. Candidate must also have computer knowledge.
• In case of male candidates, the height should be at least 5 feet 4 inches. Chest size should be 30 inches in normal condition and 32 inches in extended condition. However, in case of female candidates, the height should be at least 5 feet 2 inches.
• All candidates must be of approved weight with age and height.

SI Application Form

This year, the SI application form of Bangladesh Police has to be filled online. However, this issue is not final yet. The information will be updated when the issue is finalized. In the past years, the candidate has to appear at the designated place for physical measurement and physical test. On the day of preliminary election, the candidate has to be present at the designated place on the scheduled date along with the required documents. Candidates who have qualified the physical measurement and physical test will have to purchase the application form from the DIG of the concerned range by paying a cash price of Tk. 3.

Date and place of Preliminary Selection Test: Has not been Announced yet for 2020.

Documents required:
Candidates should be present with the following documents on the day of preliminary selection test.

• Original copy of Educational Qualification Certificate / Temporary Certificate.
• Original copy of character certificate issued by the head of the latest educational institution.
• Original copy of citizenship certificate.
• Original copy of the candidate’s national identity card. If the candidate does not have an identity card, then the original national identity card of his father or mother.
• 3 (three) copies of recent passport size color photo attested by 2nd class gazetted officer.
• Original copy of quota certificate if any.
• Original copy of Computer Training Experience Certificate for at least 3 weeks on MS Office, Internet and Troubleshooting.
• Original copy of treasury invoice of Tk. 300 / – along with application form for examination fee.

Bangladesh Police SI Admit Card

Written and oral examination will be held for the Bangladesh Police Sub-Inspector position. Those who pass the preliminary selection test will be considered eligible for the written test.

Admit Card will be issued to the initially selected candidates to participate in the written test. These Admit Card will also be considered for the Viva-voce. Candidate’s admit card will be sent to the concerned police station. The officer in charge will hand over the admit card to the candidate. However, if the application is accepted online, the candidate can download the admit card online.

SI Written Exam Date

Eligible Candidates of the physical test will have to participate in the written examination. Written examination will be held as per the following schedule.

Marks Distribution for Written Test:
Candidate has to participate for 225 Marks Written Test. Among them, written test of 100 marks in English, Bengali Essay and composition, 100 marks in general knowledge and arithmetic and 25 marks in psychology will be held.

Bangladesh Police SI Written Result

The written test results for the post of Sub-Inspector of Bangladesh Police will be published after the test. The SI Written Result 2020 will be published on the Bangladesh Police website police.gov.bd. Candidates who have passed the written and psychology test will be considered eligible for the Viva-voce. Passed Candidates will be informed in time about Viva Voce Place, Date and time.
