Controller General of Accounts CGA Job Circular 2020
The Controller General of Accounts of Bangladesh CGA has extended the deadline for applications. The notice has been published on the official website of the organization and the recruitment website cga.teletalk.com.bd. According to the new date, the application can be submitted until July 10, 2020. Earlier, the last date of application was May 5, 2020, and then later it was 20 May by extension. The application deadline has been extended due to the Corona situation in Bangladesh, according to the revised recruitment notice. The revised CGA Job Circular was published on 16 June 2020.
Earlier, on March 24, 2020, recruitment notice was published for various posts in the Controller General of Accounts of Bangladesh. The total number of posts for 14 categories was 1901. The online application started on April 5, 2020. The application was supposed to end on May 5, 2020.
The recruitment notices for the posts in the Controller General of Accounts of Bangladesh were Auditor, Junior Auditor, Shorthand-cum-Computer Operator, Cashier, Caretaker, Stenographer-cum-Computer Operator, Computer Typist, Telephone Operator, Driver, Photocopy operator, security guard.
Notable among these posts were Auditor, Junior Auditor, Computer Typist.
- Auditor: Bachelor’s or equivalent degree is required to apply for the post of Auditor. In other words, in order to apply for this post, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university. The total number of auditor posts is 538.
- Junior Auditor: The Junior Auditor post’s grade is 16. Educational qualification is required to apply for this post HSC or equivalent pass. In other words, to apply for the post of Junior Auditor, the candidate has to pass a Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates from all districts except Bandarban, Rangamati, Joypurhat can apply for this post. However, if there is a quota, only candidates from all districts can apply for this post.
- Computer Typist: To apply for the post of Computer Typist, one must have at least HSC or equivalent pass. HSC or equivalent examination must have a second division or equivalent GPA. Must have computer skills to apply for this position. 20 per minute typing speed must have in Bengali and English. The number of computer typist posts is 544.

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online. The application can be made online through the [Apply Online] cga.teletalk.com.bd website. By entering the application related website, the candidate has to proceed by determining the post for which he wants to apply. The next step is to fill the application form with the required information. Candidates must upload a recent photo and signature at the time of application. The image size and the file size must be followed when uploading images and signatures. Detailed application rules can be found on the recruitment website and job circular.
After successfully applying online, the application fee has to be paid as per the instructions of the applicant’s copy. Failure to paid the application fee within 72 hours of the application, will be rejected.
Fee payment Instruction:
The job application fee of the Controller General of Accounts of Bangladesh can be paid only through Teletalk. The applicant must follow the copy instructions to pay the application fee. The application fee has to be paid through two messages.
1st message: CGA <> User ID and send it to 16222. Example: CGA ABCQRP and Send to 16222.
The return message will provide a pin number with the applicant’s details. The second message should be sent using this PIN number.
Second message: CGA <> YES <> PIN Number and Send it to 16222. Example: CGA YES 123456 and Send it to 16222.
CGA Admit Card Download
After the expiry of the application period, the Admit Card for Controller General of Accounts of Bangladesh will be published. A separate admit card will be published for each post. Applicants will be notified via SMS about the admit card and exam date. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging in with their user ID and password.
