The application deadline for undergraduate program for the 9 Agricultural University Admission 2024 under the cluster system for the 2023-24 academic year has been extended by 6 days. The decision was made at a meeting on Wednesday, as power and internet services were disrupted in various parts of the country due to Cyclone Rimali. Students can now apply until June 5.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have passed the SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations in 2019/2020/2021 with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from the Science stream.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4 in each subject of SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations and an overall GPA of 8.5.

Application Process

  • Application starts from April 22 and will continue till May 30.
  • The admission test will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • The application fee is Tk 1200.

  • Bangladesh Agricultural University has the highest number of seats (1116).
  • Kurigram Agricultural University, the newest addition to the cluster, has the fewest seats (80).

Exam Pattern

  • The admission test will be conducted in MCQ format for 100 marks.
  • There will be 10 marks each for English, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics based on the syllabus of the 2023 HSC/Equivalent examination.

Exam Centers

  • The exam will be held simultaneously at 8 centers across the country: Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur; Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka; Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Patuakhali; Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chittagong; Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet; Khulna Agricultural University, Khulna; and Habiganj Agricultural University, Habiganj.

Application Fee

  • The application fee is Tk 1200 (excluding transaction fee).
