Only Male students can apply for admission at Dhaka Residential Model College located in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. There are Science, Business Studies, and Humanities groups. There are day and morning shifts. Admission can be as a resident or non-resident student. The Science group has Bengali and English versions. The application can be made for the Humanities and Business Studies group only in Bangla Version.

  • Number of seats in day shift in the English version of Science Group: 70
  • Number of seats in the morning shift of the English version of the science group: 70
  • Number of seats in day shift of Bangla version of Science Group: 350
  • Number of seats in Morning Shift in Bangla version of Science Group: 350
  • Number of seats in the morning shift of the Humanities group: 61
  • Number of seats in day shift of the Humanities group: 55
  • Number of seats in the Business Studies group day shift: 55
  • Number of seats in the Business Studies group morning shift: 55

Eligibility for application:
To apply for the Dhaka Residential Model College DRMC, the applicant must have the following qualifications to apply for the Bengali and English versions of the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies Groups.

  • The minimum eligibility to apply in Bangla version of Science Group: GPA 5.00
  • The minimum eligibility to apply for the English version of Science Group: GPA 5.00
  • You must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 to apply for the humanities group.
  • The minimum GPA in Business Studies group should be 4.50

Mention that, students who have passed SSC from DRMC can apply for admission only if they have a minimum GPA of 1.00. Preference will be given to own students in case of admission.

Students who pass from the science group will be able to apply to the science, humanities, and business studies groups. Students from the humanities group will be able to apply to the humanities and business studies groups. And business studies group students will be able to apply to business studies and humanities groups.

Application Process:
Applications to Dhaka Residential Model College can be made online and via SMS through the central admission process of the Ministry of Education. In case of application, DRMC (EIIN No. 108258) must be given first in the order of preference. A student will be able to apply separately for both the day and morning shifts.
