Bangladesh Department of Fisheries Job Circular Published. This is a revised recruitment notice. The circular was published on the DOF website on 14 July 2020. The circular was issued earlier and those who had applied for various posts need not re-apply.
The Fisheries Department will employ a total of 310 people in 8 categories. The posts are Shorthand typist-cum-computer operator, Accountant, Office assistant-cum-computer typist, Hatchery technician, Driver, Pump Operator, Security guard, and Office Assistant.
Notable among these are Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist and Office Assistant. 101 people will be appointed as office assistants and 139 people will be appointed as office assistants-cum-computer typists.

Accountant: A total of 9 people will be appointed as accountants. To apply for this position, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university.
Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist: Total number of posts is 139. In order to apply for this post, the candidate has to pass a Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Must have at least a second class or GPA in HSC or equivalent examination. Must also have computer skills. Must have a typing speed of 20 in Bengali and English.
Office Assistant: In order to apply for 101 posts, the candidate has to pass a Secondary School Certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 15 July 2020. Applications can be submitted till 13 August 2020. A candidate can apply for only one post. If you have already applied for any post, there is no need to apply.
Applications can be made through the Department of Fisheries Recruitment website dof.teletalk.com.bd. From the Application Form option of this website, first, you have to select the post you want to apply for. Then you have to fill the application form with the required information. Candidates need to upload a recent photo and signature in the application form.
After successfully applying the required application fee has to be paid. Instructions for payment of application fee will be mentioned in the applicant’s copy.

Failure to pay the application fee even after applying online will result in rejection of the candidate’s application. The application fee must be paid within the next 72 hours. The application fee can only be paid through Teletalk prepaid mobile.
To pay the application fee, first, go to the message option on your mobile and write DOF <> User ID and send the message to 16222. You will be provided with a PIN number in the return message. You need to send a second message using this PIN number. You have to confirm the payment through the second message. To send the second message, go to the message option of the mobile and type DOF <> YES <> PIN Number and send it to 16222. In the return message, you will be given a user ID and password congratulating you. The DOF Admit Card can be downloaded later using this user ID and password.

Candidates will be informed about the publication of the Department of Fisheries Admit Card through SMS and fisheries.gov.bd website. Candidates will be able to download the Admit Card using their user ID and password. Department of Fisheries DOF Admit Card, Exam Result, and all other information can be found on the website.
