The Directorate General of Food DGFOOD Admit Card has not yet been Published. This was not possible even after setting the test date several times. This has happened due to a large number of candidates applying.

A large number of job prospects applied after the Directorate General of Food published the recruitment notice. The number of applications stood at around 20 lakh. The Directorate General of Food is unable to take the test like so many candidates have no experience in taking the test.

It could not be implemented even after taking the initiative to take several tests after publishing the recruitment circular. Although some institutions wanted to give responsibility for the examination, some institutions did not show interest in taking the examination of such a large number of candidates. As a result, the test is stuck.

At present, it is not possible to take the recruitment test due to the Corona situation. However, if the situation is normal, the test will be taken, said the DG Food authorities. In that case, the Non-Government Teachers Registration and Certifying Authority NTRCA or the Bangladesh University of Engineering BUET may be given the responsibility.

Earlier in 2018, the Directorate General of Food published a recruitment circular. The circular for a total of 24 types of posts was published on 11 July 2018. Online application started on 17 July 2018. The online application ends on 14 August 2018. The total number of posts was 1166. Positions were: Sub Inspector of Food, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Food, Shorthand Cum-Computer Operator, Steno-typist Cum-Computer Operator, Upper Division Assistant, Auditor, Accountant Cum-Cashier, Laboratory Technician, Foreman, Mechanical Foreman, Operator, Electrician, Vehicles Electrician, Assistant Foreman, Millwright, Office Assistant-cum Computer Typist, Data Entry / Control Operator, Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Operator, Stevedore Sardar, Vehicle Mechanic, Assistant Millwright, Silo Operative and Sprayman.

The highest number of posts in the recruitment notice was Sub-Inspector of Food, Assistant Sub-inspector of food, Office Assistant cum-Computer Typist. The highest number of posts was 250 in the post of Deputy Food Inspector, 274 in the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Food, and 402 in the post of Office Assistant Cum-Computer Typist. Most of which are later applied for the posts of SI of Food and ASI of Food.

DGFood Exam Date

The Directorate General of Food Exam dateĀ  2020 has not yet been announced. After finalizing the examination date, the admit card of the recruitment examination will be published. The authority will finalize the MCQ/ Written Test date only after the examination center or venue is finalized. After finalizing the Test date, the candidates will be informed by publishing a public notice on the website dgfood.gov.bd, various national dailies. Candidates will also be informed by sending a message to their mobile number.

How to Download DGFood Admit Card?

The candidate will be informed when the admit card is published. The Information will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number about exam date and admit card download. This information will be informed through SMS. It will also be announced through the official website of the DG Food and various national dailies. Once the admit card is published, the candidate can download the Admit Card from the Directorate General of Food recruitment website dgfood.teletalk.com.bd.

The candidate will be provided a user ID and password to download the admit card. Admit Card can also be downloaded using the user ID and password that the candidate received after applying. User ID and Password can be recovered from the recruitment website if it’s lost.

DGFood Seat Plan:
Information on recruitment test date, center/venue, etc. of the Department of Food will be mentioned on the Admit Card. The center name and address will also be mentioned. A detailed seat plan will be revealed before the test. Seating plans will be published on the official website and in various national dailies.

Separate seating arrangements will be published for each position. Usually, for a small number of posts, a few posts will be tested together. But a separate seat plan will be published for those positions, which have more candidates. As such, the Sub-Inspector of Food (SI) Seat Plan and the Assistant Sub-inspector (SI) of Food will be published separately.
