Marine Admission Circular 2020 (Diploma in Engineering)
Diploma in Marine Engineering Admission Circular 2020 has been published. The 4 years Diploma in Marine Technology and Diploma in Ship Building Technology courses 2020-2021 application can be made online. The application fee can be paid through mobile banking. The Admission Result will be published after the application deadline. No admission test will be taken for admission to Marine. Instead, the merit list will be prepared based on the SSC and equivalent Results.
The six marine institutes in Bangladesh are Narayanganj Institute of Marine Technology, Faridpur Institute of Marine Technology, Bagerhat Institute of Marine Technology, Chandpur Institute of Marine Technology, and Munshiganj. Only Narayanganj Institute of Marine Technology has the trade courses.
The Institute of Marine Technologies is under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board and is managed by the Bangladesh Manpower and Employment Bureau BMET.

Application Eligibilities:
To apply for Marine Engineering Admission, a candidate must have the following qualifications. Male and female candidates both can apply.
- The applicant has to pass SSC / Dakhil / SSC (Vocational) / Dakhil (Vocational) / equivalent examination in 2020, 2019, or 2018 under any education boards of Bangladesh or Bangladesh Open University.
- Application for males candidates should be at least GPA 3.50 with a GPA of 3.00 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics.
- Application for females candidates should have a minimum GPA of 3.00 including GPA 3.00 in General Mathematics or Higher Mathematics.
- Candidates who have passed the “O” level can also apply.
Application Process:
To apply online, first, the applicant has to pay Tk. 150 through Rocket / SureCash / bKash. After paying the application fees, you can apply through the admission website btebadmission.gov.bd. Applicants must upload recent photos at the application time.
