BUET Admission

BUET Admission Circular 2020-2021 will be published on the admission buet ac bd website. The admission form has to be filled through this admission Website of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Admit Card Download, Seat Plan, Eligible Candidates List, and all other information will be published on this website.

Also eligibility for application, admission test marks distribution, question type and pattern, approved calculator, the application process, payment instruction, and all other information will be available on the prospectus.

The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology BUET Admission Notice 2020-21 will be published after the publication of HSC and equivalent exam results. The application deadline and admission test schedule will be published with the admission notice. It is expected that the admission test will be held in January 2021. The first 12,000 applicants will have the opportunity to participate in the admission test on the basis of merit.

Application Eligibility

To apply for admission to the graduate of the Bangladesh University of Engineering, one has to pass HSC or equivalent examination in 2020. The applicant must also have the following qualifications.

  • Candidates should get a minimum GPA of 4.50 out of 5.00 in HSC or equivalent examination. The Candidates must have a GPA of at least 4.00 out of 5 in HSC and equivalent examinations.
  • Candidates should get at least 480 marks out of a total of 600 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at the higher secondary level.

Admission Test Marks Distribution

BUET admission test will be taken as written. The admission test for A-group will be 600 marks and for B-group admission test will be 1000 marks. The admission test will be held in A-group and B-group with 200 marks for each in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition, an additional admission test of 400 marks for the drawing will be taken for B-group.
