The result for the C Unit admission test of Jahangirnagar University (JU) for 2025 has been published. The admission test for the academic year 2024-2025 was held on February 13, 2025.
A large number of students took part in the C Unit exam. There were 53,393 applicants in total. Among them, 29,355 were female and 24,038 were male candidates. These students competed for 440 available seats. These seats are spread across nine departments under the C Unit. Importantly, the seats are equally divided between male and female students. There are 220 seats for male students and 220 seats for female students.
The C Unit includes several important faculties and institutes. These are:
- Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- Faculty of Law
- Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture
Jahangirnagar University has released the JU Result C Unit 2025 in different ways for students to check. Students can check their results on the official university admission website. The website is ju-admission.org.
On the website, students need to find the “Result” section. Then, they should click on the login button. To login, students will need to enter their mobile number and password. After logging in, they can see their JU Result C Unit 2025.
Besides the website, the JU Result C Unit 2025 is also available as a PDF file. This PDF file can be downloaded from the website. The PDF result is prepared shift-wise. There are separate PDF files for female and male candidates. Female candidates’ results are in Shifts 1-3 PDF. Male candidates’ results are in Shifts 4-6 PDF.
Jahangirnagar University also provides an SMS service to check the JU Result C Unit 2025. To check the result via SMS, students need to follow these steps:
- Type JU R and then their Roll Number.
- Send the SMS to 3690.
For example, if a student’s roll number is 123456, they should type JU R 123456 and send it to 3690.
To pass the JU C Unit admission test, students needed to score at least 35% marks. The merit list will be prepared based on a total of 100 marks. 80 marks are from the MCQ admission test. 20 marks are combined from the SSC and HSC results. The merit list will include the names of candidates which is 10 times the number of available seats in each unit.
