Agricultural University Admission Test Date Announced

Good news for students in Bangladesh who want to study agriculture. The date for the admission test for agricultural universities has been announced. For the 2024-25 academic year, nine public agricultural universities will hold a combined admission test.

The admission test will be held on April 12, 2025. The test will start at 11:00 AM. It will be held at the same time all over the country.

Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is in charge of the admission test this year. Dr. Md. Helal Uddin, who is the acting registrar of BAU, confirmed this date. He said that the decision was made in a meeting. The meeting was held at the Vice-Chancellor’s office of BAU.

Interested students can apply for the admission test from February 15. The last date to apply is March 16, 2025. To apply, students will need to pay a fee of 1200 Taka.

Like before, there will be quotas for some groups of students. Three percent of seats are reserved for children of freedom fighters. One percent of seats are for students with disabilities. Another one percent is for students from poor ethnic groups or students who live in hilly areas.

There are a total of 3,718 seats available in these nine universities. These universities are:

  • Bangladesh Agricultural University
  • Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University
  • Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University
  • Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University
  • Patuakhali Science and Technology University
  • And four other agricultural universities.
