Scholarships will be given to 750 students based on the results of the 2020 Alim examination. Out of these, 150 students will be given merit scholarships and 600 students will be given general scholarships. On Monday (April 19), the Madrasa Education Department issued an order allocating scholarship quotas based on the results of the Alim examination.

In this order, the Madrasa Education Department has asked the Madrasa Education Board to publish the gazette of the students who got the scholarship by April 27. Based on the results of the Alim examination, 150 students will be given merit scholarships and 600 students will be given general scholarships.

It is learned that on the basis of the results of the Alim examination, 150 meritorious students will be given Tk.7650 per month and Rs. 1,800 as an annual lump sum. 600 students who have passed the general scholarship Alim examination will be given Tk. 350 per month and Tk. 750 as an annual lump sum.

Scholarship money will be sent directly to the student’s bank account through EFT in the GTP method. Within 7 days of the publication of the scholarship gazette, the account number has to be opened in the bank with an online facility and the account number has to be submitted to the admitted institution.
