SUST Admission Circular 2020-2021
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology SUST Admission Circular has been published. Interested and Eligible Candidates have to apply for admission through the website admission.sust.edu. At the end of the online application, the application fee has to be paid through Mobile Banking Rocket.
The Admit Card has to print from the same website. Detailed seat plans for A and B units will be published before the admission test. Admission results of all the units will be published at the end of the test.

Application Eligibility
To apply to the SUST, the applicant has to pass HSC and equivalent examination in 2020 or 2019. Candidates must also pass SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018.
Candidates who have passed HSC and equivalent examinations from the science group will be able to apply in both A and B units. Students from other groups can only apply to the “A” unit.
To apply for the “A” unit, you need to have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both HSC and equivalent examinations individually. In addition, HSC and SSC level exams must have a minimum total GPA of 7.50.
To apply for the B unit, one has to have a total GPA of 7.00 with a minimum GPA of 3.00 separately at HSC and SSC levels.
In addition, for admission in a particular department, one has to have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in the relevant subject in HSC or equivalent examination.
Admission Test Marks Distribution
A-Unit: The admission test in the A-unit of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology will be 1 hour 30 minutes. Admission test of 20 marks in English, 10 marks in Bengali, 10 marks in Physics, 10 marks in Chemistry, 10 marks in Mathematics / Biology, and 10 marks in Bangladesh and International will be taken for science students.
For the students of the humanities group, 20 marks in English, 10 marks in Bengali, 30 marks in Economics, Politics, Logic, Sociology, Social Welfare, History and History of Islam, 30 marks in Bangladesh and International, and 10 marks in General Mathematics will be taken.
Admission test of 20 marks in English, 10 marks in Bengali, 10 marks in Accounting, Business Policy and Application and 30 marks in Bangladesh and International context and 10 marks in General Mathematics at Secondary level will be taken for Commerce students.
Unit B: Admission test of the B1 group of B unit will be taken for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Admission test of 10 marks in English, 20 marks in Physics, 20 marks in Chemistry and 20 marks in Mathematics will be taken here.
The admission test period for B2 of Unit B is 1 hour 30 minutes with an additional 1 hour. In other words, a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes of admission test will be taken. The unit will have an admission test of 10 marks in English, 20 marks in Physics, 20 marks in Chemistry, 20 marks in Mathematics, and 30 marks for General Knowledge in Drawing and Architecture.
