Chittagong University Admission Circular has been published. The CU Admission Form can be filled online. The Admission website is admission.cu.ac.bd. Application fees can be paid through Rocket, bKash, and Sure Cash.

Candidates have to apply separately for each unit. The Applications can be made for multiple units if have eligibility.

Admit Card must be downloaded within the stipulated time frame at the end of the application. At the end of the application, the date and details of the download of the admit card will be known.

A detailed seat plan will be published for each unit before the admission test. Admission results will be published at the end of the admission test of each unit. Admission activities will be completed as per the merit list.

Application Eligibility

To apply for admission to the University of Chittagong, the candidate has to pass HSC or equivalent examination in 2020. Candidates have to pass SSC or equivalent examination in 2017 or 2018. The improvement candidates can also apply.

The candidate who is interested in applying to the unit must have the prescribed qualifications for that unit.

A-Unit: This unit of Chittagong University has all the departments and institutes of the Faculty of Science, all the departments of the Faculty of Biology, all the departments of the Faculty of Engineering, and all the departments and institutes of the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries.

To apply in this unit, the candidate should have a minimum total GPA of 7.50. However, the minimum individual GPA must be 3.50.

B-Unit: B-Unit has all the departments and institutes of the Faculty of Arts and Anthropology. However, this unit does not include the Department of Drama, Institute of Fine Arts, and Department of Music.

You must have a minimum total GPA of 7.00 to apply for the B unit. Separately, the minimum GPA should be 3.25.

B1-Sub Unit: This unit has the Drama Department, Fine Arts Institute, and Music Department of the Faculty of Arts and Anthropology. You need to have a minimum total GPA of 7.00 to apply to this subdivision. Separately, the minimum GPA should be 3.25.

C-Unit: This unit has all the departments of the Faculty of Business Administration. To apply for the C unit, you need to have a minimum total GPA of 7.50 and separately a minimum GPA of 3.50.

D-Unit: D-Unit consists of all departments under the Faculty of Social Sciences, Law Department under the Faculty of Law, all departments under the Faculty of Business Administration, and Department of Geography and Ecology and Psychology under the Faculty of Biology.

To apply for this unit you need to have a minimum total GPA of 7.00 and separately a minimum GPA of 3.25.

D1-Sub Unit: This unit has the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science under the Faculty of Education. You must have a minimum total GPA of 6.00 to apply here. Also at SSC and HSC level, the minimum GPA should be 2.50 separately.
